BREAKING NEWS: Yankees Sign Star to Minor-League Deal

Sports Net New York is reporting that the New York Yankees and Actor/Comedian Billy Crystal have come to terms on a 1-day minor-league contract.

Crystal, 59, was captain for his team during his senior year at Long Beach high school. He batted .343 that season.

Crystal is excited to be joining the Yankees and is expected to be in uniform tomorrow afternoon when the Yankees take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in spring training play.
